FLORA & FAUNA

One of the best surprises that happens when I'm photographing flowers is the appearance of a bug. In some of these images they're obvious. Others were surprises revealed while looking at the images on my computer. Some of these bugs are surprisingly endearing. Using a macro lens I'm able to get up close and very personal with flowers and insects. Even though I'm basically inside the flower with my lens, it still doesn’t feel close enough!
